"We Are Warriors" is a song by Canadian singer Avril Lavigne released on April 24, 2020, for digital download by the BMG Rights Management. A re-recording of the final track—originally titled "Warrior"—from her sixth studio album Head Above Water (2019), Lavigne released the song as a charity single to support Project HOPE during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The original tune was written about Lavigne’s battle with Lyme disease and, as she has found immense strength in the tune herself in the past, she thought it would be the perfect gift to those who need some comfort right now. “I changed it from ‘I’m a warrior’ to ‘we are warriors,’” she explains. She hopes that those risking their lives to save others during the pandemic can find some power in lines like: “Cause we are warriors, we’ll fight for our lives. Like soldiers all through the night.”

Ever since our world was turned upside down a few weeks ago I’ve seen everyday people put on their armor and go into battle. Overnight everyone was asked to fight. Overnight everyone became Warriors. I re-recorded “Warrior” to reflect our current world and all the amazing heroic things you’re all doing. Proceeds from the song “We Are Warriors” and its accompanying video will be donated to Project HOPE, an incredible organization on the front lines of Covid-19 Relief. They’ve already procured and distributed over 5 million pieces of personal protective equipment (PPE) to keep doctors and medical staff safe all over the world.
